Terms of Service
Last updated May 28, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Oxidock marketing website and your download and use of the Oxidock desktop application. By accessing this site or downloading the software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the software.
Oxidock is operated by Lynsoft LLC. The software is distributed as open source under the MIT License.
Software license
The Oxidock application source code is licensed under the MIT License. Your rights to use, modify, and distribute the software are defined by that license and the project repository.
Pre-built release binaries are provided for convenience. They are offered without additional warranties beyond those stated in the MIT License and in these Terms.
Safety and container operations
Oxidock is a local command center for Docker-compatible container engines such as Docker Desktop, OrbStack, Colima, Rancher Desktop, and remote Docker contexts. Commands you run through the app or its CLI playground can start, stop, remove, or reconfigure containers and related resources on your machine.
You are solely responsible for reviewing commands before execution and for the impact of any action on your systems, data, and networks. Lynsoft LLC is not liable for data loss, service interruption, misconfiguration, or other harm resulting from your use of container engines or Oxidock.
Website use
You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable law
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or overload the site or its APIs, including the download lead endpoint at
/api/leads - Submit false or misleading information through forms on this site
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
Download form and communications
When you request a download, we may ask for contact details such as your name, email, country, and company. If you opt in, Lynsoft LLC may use that information to share Oxidock updates and product news. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time by contacting us.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The website relies on third-party services, including GitHub for release hosting, optional privacy-focused analytics (Plausible), and infrastructure providers that process download form submissions. Those services are subject to their own terms and policies. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we do not control third-party content.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE WEBSITE AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY CONTAINER ENGINE OR OPERATING SYSTEM CONFIGURATION.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LYNSOFT LLC AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims relating to the website or software will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the software in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) zero, because Oxidock is provided free of charge.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the website or software after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
